Dakota's wonderful winter sport blog

This year Tumu Hub have been going to winter sport there were many of sports to play like netball ,  soccer , Hockey and tackle rugby.I picked hockey because I thought that it would be good to choose a new sport to play because I have played many sports but avoided hockey so I went along to the try outs and then waited a couple days then found out that I was in the A team , I was so excited.The first winter sport game was nervous but we done really and that luck has carried on and now my team is un defeated in our actual games but in the north zones tournament we came third so we didn't quite get to centrals but we almost did because the top team go to centrals. As I have been through the season I have definitely been running loads and doing way more fitness then I used to.

    This is amazing because it is interesting and my school also did winter sports.

    Thanks for sharing this blog post Dakota. I like that you chose a sport that was new for you and that you did so well at hockey. I do dance sport with a veterans dance group and I really enjoy it. Have you thought about what sport you might do next year?

      Yes I have been thinking about doing rugby or netball
